Specificity of organizing casting in the selection process of artists

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to characterize the specifics of casting in the selection proces of artists. The article is the result of an analysis of the available texts on the selection of artists as candidates for work and own research carried out by the method of direct observation. The observation was conducted in two artistic institutions: the theater and the philharmonic. The aim of the study was to get acquainted with the area in which casting was carried out in the contexts: organization of time and space, things, social actors and interaction.
