SIGNIFICANCE OF THE BASIC DESIGN ELEMENTS ON FASHION DESIGN

Summary/Abstract: Every design discipline is a language; fashion is a unique cultural, visual and tactile one that move sand lives on human form. Fashion visually represents social perspective and cultural values, in time changing sense of aesthetics. The purpose of this article; fashion concept and its creation process reconsidered with in the context of the basic design principles. With the intention to create an inspiration source for fashion design students or fashion followers, even for fashion designers. In the article, the basic design principles determined on the design process with fashion designer perspective and analyzed under five headings.
