Summary/Abstract: The present article discusses some issues of the state liability for damage caused by national law, which is not in accordance with European Union law. The author illustrates his thesis citing legal norms under the Privatization and the Post-Privatization Control Act, and also sets out his position on the non-compliance with the norms of the recently adopted amendments to the Law on Banks and Credit Institutions of European Standards. The analysis is based on the case law of the European Court of Justice and the European Court of Human Rights.
