Summary/Abstract: Induced abortion (on demand) is legal in Romania in 1957. It was banned in 1966 by Nicolae Ceausescu and re-legalized in 1990. Each child is more precious than any material wealth of this world. Article 185 of the Penal Code, that the challenge of illegal abortion was reintroduced, after being initially repealed. As the Civil Code, the capacity of using child begins at conception, provided it be born alive, even if it is not viable. In terms of administrative law, it demonstrates that a society with many individuals provide more facilities in the payment of taxes and the development and smooth running of society in general, both demographic and material, cultural, spiritual etc.. Advocates believe that abortion is a form of medicine. Opponents say it is a crime.
