Summary/Abstract: Oral sex is one of the most common forms of sexual activity. It has gained popularity since ancient times and has been spread among all major cultures of the world. Its reception by society was highly diversed among ages, which was influenced mostly by religion. Sexual preferences has changed mainly because of porn movies” prevalence, which popularize this form of sex. Additional advantage for partners is lack of risk of pregnancy. Nowadays oral practice are well-liked among young people as well as elder pairs. Few people realize, that oral sex can pose a risk for contracting sexually transmitted infections (STI/STD). The purpose of our article is to present the risk related to this form of sexual activity, techniques, definitions, its popularity and cultural background.
