DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF LEV KARSAVIN’S PHILOSOPHY OF RELIGION

Summary/Abstract: The subject of the article is the most relevant traits of works of famous Russian philosopher Lev Karsavin. This thinker at the same time was successor of Russian philosophy of universality and creator of original philosophical conception. The article also introduces to place of Russian philosophy in “western tradition” of philosophy, and specifies reasons why so rich Russian philosophical heritage often and often is trying to be described as meaningless and insignificant.
