Summary/Abstract: Collective labor contract is an act, which cannot be studied outside the framework of the applicable labor agreements at a certain historical period and in a given place. The collective labor contract, in the narrow sense, represents a reality that is part of a wider social and legal phenomenon than this contract itself. The collective contract is the entirety of normative acts that the parties decide between them, according to explicitly defined patterns or consistent long-term practices outlining certain behaviors. So, such an activity does not only expire on the formulation of a collective labor contract but represents a wider field of legal relations. The collective labor contract remains one of the most important legal remedies for protecting the interests of employees and working relationships. The collective labor agreement takes a new meaning in our days, for the very highest stage of economic, social and political development of the country, for Albania's ambitions to be part of EU.
