Students rental housing market – measurement and analysis of residential preference

Summary/Abstract: While conducting analysis of demand and supply sides cooperating at the residential real estate market, we can distinguish many ways of using residential resources. One of them is rental. In certain social groups, among others young marriages, households with unstable financial situation and especially students i.e. social group learning in the higher education system, rental housing market is a popular form of using residential. Taking into consideration the significant position of students at the rental services market, parameterization and analysis of their preferences were made in the following research. Analysis of four areas referring rental service was made while specifying research. First of them was the organizational-legal area, the second one area describing parameters of rented residential, third one the area referring the accompanying infrastructure and finally the fourth one the area defining rental costs.
