Summary/Abstract: This study in which the comparison of the effects of the instruments which are used by teachers to marches, folk and school songs studied in second level primary schools is an experimental study. This study's experimental pattern is the ''pretest – final test single grupped model'' which is among the real attempt models whose scientific degree is the highest. Students from Karacihan Primary School were chosen in order to build the working group of the study. Analysing the primary education less on curriculum, checking the helping soursesand taking opinions of experts, 3 folk songs, 3 marchesand 3 school songs level with each other were composed. ''Configured behavior ability observation form'' has been built in order to find the effects of instruments in chosen songs which are going to be used during lessons. Configured behavior ability observation form was filled up and final test datas were obtained end of the nine week song teaching. Five hold scale type have been used in the configured behavior ability observation form for determine the students songs learning level. Datas which obtained from experiments were evaluated with using Spss statistical program, t-test, one way Annova and Scheffe test. According to conclusion of the study, using classical guitar as the teacher's instrument will be more sufficient than using flute or another instrument in teaching of folk and school songs.
