Summary/Abstract: The basic evidences in the records management of primary and hight schools are the formal protocol and the archival book. Proper and lawful keeping of basic evidences is of the utmost importance for proper management of documents in institutions of primary and secondary education. Therefore, it is very important to correctly and thoroughly maintain basic records in schools, from the creation of the document to submission to the competent archive. For proper keeping of basic records, the worker in charge of them must be trained, and familiar with the regulations governing the field of office and archival business. This paper aims to point out the importance of correctly keeping basic records in primary and high schools, and to point out some of the omissions that are present in these institutions.
