Summary/Abstract: Education regarded as the main vector for personal, professional and social development, is the essential factor in the development and perpetuation of a people.Poor education or lack of it determines the man not to correctly assess the true dimension of existence and can sometimes lead to committing anti-social behaviors. Analysis of statistic cases representing one of the main methods of criminological research shows that part of the Romanian population still suffers from a lack of education, as it is observed in the number of persons who have committed crimes compared to the level of training of criminals.
