Summary/Abstract: In a „liquid“ society (Bauman), the traditional authorities and institutions are adrift. The State, the family etc.are exceeded by antisystemic actions. New ideological mouvements try to dissolve the traditional ideologies. The humor of Charlie Hebdo is not adapted to the new structure of the public space. In a world of ever moredifficult to identify avatars, the gouaille Ŕ harsh, uncivil humor Ŕ has radically and definitely transformed the conflicts. The institutions of reconciliation and the frontieres of civility are dissolved.Charlie Hebdo is a victim not only of social, political, and cultural destructurations, but also of anxiety, fear and violence, raised against the socratic doubt and its irony.
