Summary/Abstract: Şemseddin Sami tells the woman in her book; Women. Addressing women's problems and women's social life, writers argue that women should play an active role in society. The writer refers to the general characteristics of women, such as sharp intelligence, unity and jealousy, expressing that women should work in various professions in society. The author, indicating that jobs such as teaching, nursing, shop assistant, tailoring are jobs suitable for women, refers to the importance of increasing women's employment in these occupations. However, women should not work in the field, to double-drive, to dig the land, to cut the wood that requires physical strength and the men work to do. Educating women means educating society on a basis. It notes that the first trainer to train the children in the family is the woman in the mother role. She is the mother who trains children in the family. The training of a woman who plays such a vital role is unquestionable. If women are ignorant, society is basically shaken and ignorance is spread. However, if the woman is cultured and knowledgeable, society is connected by strong links. If women are happy, the society is also generous. Then we should strive to ensure the happiness of women. Women attract men to family and provide the happiness and peace of society.
