Summary/Abstract: Croatian language in Bosnia and Herzegovina went through great changes in the last decade of the twentieth century. This process was primarily influenced by the changes which occurred in the standard Croatian language, and by many nonlingual causes as well. Very few experts in Bosnia and Herzegovina are dealing with standard Bosnia-Herzegovina languages, so “that job was done” by politicians whose main goal was to emphasize the differences, mostly lexical ones.
