Summary/Abstract: Author discussed administrative contracts, their existence and their legal nature in Serbian legal system as well as in other jurisdictions. It is emphasized that administrative contract does not need to be regulated and legalized in order to function and to be legitimate. Emphasis is placed on a legal nature of the contract and a similarities and differences that exist between this institution and others similar to it. The study of administrative contracts necessarily raises the need for study of other administrative and legal problems, which are also very briefly presented in this paper.
