Summary/Abstract: The goal of the article is to reveal the extent of RSCI reflection of the Bulgarian publications/references in two aspects: the Bulgarian-language articles and the Bulgarian-language books. The comparative analysis was used in the study. It has been established that the Cyrillic alphabet and the Bulgarian language is not an obstacle to Russian Science Citation Index; it successfully indexes publications/references in Bulgarian. This fact indicates that Russian Science Citation Index is able to give an effective contribution to refine results of Bulgarian academic organizations ranking.
