Theories of mysticism on creative process, materialistic counterpoints

Summary/Abstract: In the collision between the two main concepts on the origin of creative process – mysticism and materialism – a new theory was born based on the principles of humanistic and transcendent psychology founded by the American scientist Abraham Maslow. He formulated one of the principles related to the secondary role of symbols – their occurrence first in creative works and then in real life settings.
