Summary/Abstract: This review treats the winner of the 2016 “Mihai Eminescu” poetry prize winner for a debut book, namely Robert Elekes. His Aici îmi iau dinții-n spinare și adio was quite honestly one of the worst poetic productions of that year and represented a sign that the “Mihai Eminescu” prize for poetry was beginning to lose its relevance in a literary space dominated by the Romanian Writers’ Union (USR).
