EDUCAȚIE ȘI FORMARE ÎN ACADEMIA NAȚIONALĂ DE INFORMAȚII
EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN THE NATIONAL INTELLIGENCE ACADEMY

Summary/Abstract: The author of this study attempt to conduct an analysis of the current state of affairs of intelligence studies in Romania, with a special focus on intelligence education and training. The case studies address the issues of education, training and scientific research activities conducted in the field of intelligence within the „Mihai Viteazul” National Intelligence Academy and the National Institute for Intelligence Studies, and the steps that the SRI has undertaken thus far for the development of the educational process and of the analytical outreach. Moreover, the paper suggests some future steps that are intended to lead to the introduction of the word intelligence in the Romanian lexicon and an increase in the attention given by Romanian scholars and experts to the discipline of intelligence studies.
