Summary/Abstract: Romania has skilfully designed its security interest in key areas with high risk levels, on a global dimensions of the moments which have fundamentally marked the entire process of security. This design has offered major advantages to the Romanian state, including in the area of managing risks and vulnerabilities to national security, but it has also led to a certain evolution of the categories of risks and threats, which are of special interest in the context of expanding globalization.In the first decade of this century the cohesion phenomena have multiplied and accelerated and the process of globalization has become multilateral and generalized, determining an ever visibile increase in the level of world economic interdependence and interaction. Between this process and that of integration there is an strong tie having multiple effects on the evolution of risks and threats to national security.
