Summary/Abstract: The main focus of cultural studies is to examine the basis of human competence and actions; thoughts and feelings about the individualism. Ethnography centers the culture concept. It mostly focuses on individual and group through in-depth interviews and wide-ranging observations from everyday life through participatory observation. It needs ethnography, artistic insight and narrative as a research method. In the same way, art provides a productive common space for using ethnography as an art practice as a means of discovering reality. In this research, culture and life of Yoruk, handled by Turgut Zaim with a proven certainty and warmly in his works, were examined by using trace analysis method. It is seen that in the works of Zaim, the life, the clothing, the goods, the means of livelihood, the happiness, the sadness, in short the material and spiritual structure of the community that he observes has turned into a visual ethnographic narrative.
