Summary/Abstract: Individuals engage in social interaction with other individuals with whom they communicate in all areas of life, seeking information about the individual they interact with and making a certain impression. In this case, in order to influence the individuals whom they are contact with individuals may have a tendency to control their behavior’s with the impression they created. These impressions can created sometimes anxiety depending on the social appearance of the individuals besides this it can affect the employee's work engagement and performance. Company employees are groups that aim to increase their performance and competitive power by establishing intensive and healthy social relations. The work engagement of the worker’s is considered to be an important element for the institutions in order to gain competitive advantage, increase efficiency and productivity. This research examines the mediating role of social aspect anxiety in the effects of impression management behavior on staff’s work engagement in some of the company employees operating in Antalya. Survey method was used as a data collection tool. According to the results of the study, the increase in the level of employees' impression management level affects their work engagement positively and besides employees' social aspect anxiety may bring out their engagement for work. As a result of the hierarchical regression analysis, relationship between impression management and work engagement it has been found that social aspect anxiety has a full mediating role.
