Summary/Abstract: The European Union's single voice, announced by the Treaty of Lisbon, is not yet visible because of the distrust shown by influential European actors in European policies reguarding energetic security, foreign affairs, or common defence. Thus, major economic and political disparities grow among Member States, each pursuing its own interests only, and not the intrests of the entire community.
