Summary/Abstract: The search for an integral and realistic approach to education alsorequires to figure a spiritual and religious dimension of human life in it.Father John Bosco (Don Bosco), while seeking an all-round development ofyoung people as individuals, created an educational environment (Oratory)in which he prepared them for both social and ecclesial life. In his pedagogy,there was place for joy, fun and culture. Getting to know the biography ofDon Bosco’s pupils allows us to understand how he implemented integraleducation in everyday life and interpersonal relations. The most significanttestimonies of Don Bosco’s pedagogy are biographies of Alojzy Comollo,Dominik Savio, Michał Magone and Franciszek Besucco. They reveal not only the abundance of experience of these young people and the conditions of society in which they happened to live, but also express the educational humanism and fascinating spiritual culture of Don Bosco’s pedagogy.
