Flexible working arrangements in Poland

Summary/Abstract: The paper looks at selected issues related to flexible hours schedule (flexitime). In contrast to traditional arrangements, flexitime allows employees to alter workday start and finish times. The author presents three types of flexitime arrangements which are available according to the Polish labour law. Regulatory framework, statistics and advantages for empoyees and employers are discussed.
