Summary/Abstract: This article aims to answer the following questions: Do theology and media studies have common areas of interest? Can we talk about new subdiscipline of theological science, which might also be regarded as subdiscipline of media studies? The authors analyzed available legal acts, official documents, documents of the Church and the essays dedicated to the media studies and theological sciences. In addition to this, they refer to the results of their previous research in this area.
