The Last Quarter of the Hungarian Philosophy

Summary/Abstract: The essay examines the last quarter of the Hungarian philosophy. In its focus stands the institutional system of philosophy: it analyses the function of the Institute of Philosophy of the Hungarian Academy of Siences (HAS), the departments of philosophy of universities, the Hungarian Philosophical Society, and the state of the publishing of books and periodicals. According to its conclusions the era brought the Renaissance of Hungarian philosophy, at the same time, however, this Renaissance has been closed in recent years.
