Summary/Abstract: The Church maintained higher education has been evaluated by the National Accreditation Committee of Hungary in the academic years of 2014-2016. This process of evaluation gave chances to reformulate documentations, change regulations and monitor the institutions according to the general requirements of higher education in Hungary. Being a member of the peer reviewing team the author got chances to look deeply to this unknown field of the higher education of Hungary - especially the Calvinist institutions. The result of the accreditation process ended with positive results. With some weaknesses the Calvinist institutions proved to be at the national level of the Hungarian higher education. Thanks to the Church and its Lord, they will see a promised future.
