Summary/Abstract: The compatibility between the insolvency proceedings and the ordinary law procedural norms give rise to complex issues in practice. To deal with the „compatibility issue” in the matter of procedural law triggers a high degree of complexity as long as a single paragraph of the Insolvency Code [art. 342 par. (1) of Law no. 85/2014] holds the key to an entire juridical universe. And compatibility issues do appear because insolvency law is one of the most complex – interdisciplinary, creative and largely discussed – areas of law. Answers are not always convincing all participants in such a debate, but, in the end, coherence and fluidity of legal arguments should prevail.
