Summary/Abstract: New edition of Martin Heidegger's Zollikon Seminars was published at the beginning of this year as part of the ordinary edition of his Gesamtausgabe, as its 89th volume. It is a good opportunity to think again about the meaning of Heidegger’s work for psychology and psychotherapy. Heidegger, through Medard Boss and his colleagues in Zollikon, has sought to cross the boundaries of his thinking toward a wider audience and be helpful to sufferers. Heidegger personally consulted Boss’ opus magnus Grundriss der Medizin und Psychologie, and so we can see this work as the only canonical application of Heidegger’s thinking in psychology and psychiatry and as a legitimate foundation of daseinsanalysis. The paper is devoted to the signs of this radical change of view and founding the basis more appropriate to the illness of human beings, an adequate understanding of human existence.
