Summary/Abstract: Objekt of this are instruktive words of one of the most ardent preachers of Christianityin the 10th centuri – Peter Chernorizets. The article examines the way in which he uses the citations of Holi Scriptures, for the changes to which subjects them and for the purpose to which obeys them. They represent a mayor part of the reasoning of Peter Chernorizets and his skils free to use them is preacher’s oratorikal mastery in the fright against the remanants of paganist and moral depravity in the socety.
