EU External Agreements after the Lisbon Treaty

Summary/Abstract: This article summarizes the changes brought about by the Lisbon treaty in the area of EU international conventions conclusion. It begins by changes in EU’s legal personality and its fusion with the European Community. The following part is consacreted to procedural changes incorporated in the Article 216 TFEU. This general provision is compared to specific procedural provisions on CFSP and the former Third Pillar. Last part of this article deals with consequences that concern relationship of the Czech and EU laws of international agreements and its internal proces sof ratification.
