Summary/Abstract: In Poland, but probably also abroad, it is difficult to find a person who would not know the Forte brand. The family company established in 1992 is one of the largest furniture manufacturers in Poland, and as much as 82% of the company’s production is exported. Its owner and president, Maciej Formanowicz, claims that the success of the project is determined by the contribution of work in 90%, and the happiness of the remaining 10%. The effects of the managers and employees work can be found in the company’s economic and financial results, which affects competitive advantage of entity. In this paper changes of the major values affecting the economic condition and competitive advantage of the enterprise were analysed. The research has shown the creditworthiness of the entity, which justifies the perception of its strong competitive position on the market.
