Summary/Abstract: The aim of paper to present and discuss the results of the survey concerning “generation Y” attitudes characteristic towards a possibility of their participation in activities of local governments, and particularly in budget processes. The questions concerned: attitude to common goods, knowledge of municipality problems, participation in local affairs and activities, about possibility and will to influence local matters by participating in participatory budgeting.
