Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the concept of ‘patriotic entrepreneurship’. The first part discusses various aspects of entrepreneurship. The second part defines patriotism. Different priorities are set for patriots in times of military activities and different one – during periods of peace. In times of peace, patriotism is sensitive in a particular way to the community, it shows exceptional concern for cultural goods and values, and manifests respect to the homeland. It is similar with the kind of entrepreneurship that is described as patriotic. Its priorities include being sensitive to the social aspects of doing business. The commitment to cultural goods brings about the concern for the ethical aspect of economic activity, on the side of both the entrepreneur and the employee. The love for the homeland is a decisive factor leading to the need to implement the idea of sustainable development, and in particular financing projects aimed at the use of renewable energies and the protection of the environment.
