Summary/Abstract: Theodor Dafnopat is a high rank courtier, dignitary and writer from the time of the flowering of the Byzantine literature during the reign of emperor Konstantin VІІ (912-959). The research is dedicated to the “Laudation of St. Apostle Paul” in the Collection of saints’ live (f.19, № 105) at the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences – Vilnius. Observations were made on the artistic world of the oration and in the application is published the Old-Bulgarian translation.
