Summary/Abstract: The problem of diversity management, considering the specificity of companies operating in Poland, has not yet been an object of complex analyses. Hence the objective of the present paper is to determine the degree of dissemination of the concept of diversity management in the surveyed companies operating in Polish labor market. The study discussed in this paper attempted to assess the known of the diversity management idea among the companies operating in Poland. Whether this approach is willingly implemented. At a further phase of analyses, information gathered during 104 interviews with HR managers were compared with the 2 045 opinions of their employees. The research on diversity management also focused on the relation of HR management level at companies and its advancement. It was assumed that organizations awarded in HR management contests are above standard in this area.
