Summary/Abstract: At the end of IX century, the young Bulgarian prince Simeon compiled the collection Zlatostruj, which originally contained 45 sermons. Later the collection was enriched with another 92 sermons, about 30 of which are sermons of Chrysostom from the Eclogue (Florilegia, Ἀπανθίσματα), and 48 paraphrases of Theodore Daphnopates. This research is focused on the translation of two of Daphnopates’ paraphrases (№ 32 and № 30), and the eulogy of Paul the Apostle, which is closely related to them.
