Summary/Abstract: The aim of this report is to present a few newly registered settlements, found in field research in October 2009, on the land of the villages Ovcharovo, Iliya R. Blaskovo and Ivanski. Thereby expanding the archaeological map of Shumen region, we receive preliminary information about the settlement network in Northeastern Bulgaria in Antiquity and the Early Middle Ages. Along with findings about the area and the terrain, the report delivers a brief analysis of the ceramic samples and works of metaloplastics, discovered in the settlements. However, firm conclusions at this stage are too risky due the specifics of field research. It is quite possible any future steady archaeological excavations in the above-mentioned areas to throw some more light on the issue.
