Summary/Abstract: RESEARCH OBJECTIVE: The aim of the study is to present the theoretical assumptions about individualization, which is important from the point of view of child’s development and education. The issue of individualization was presented in the light of psychological and pedagogical literature and socio-cultural changes. THE RESEARCH PROBLEM AND METHODS: The problem questions are: how is individualization interpreted, what are the changes in its meaning, what aspects does it encompass? The article attempts to define a framework for critical discourses on the subject of individualization as well as theoretical contexts and scratches of praxeological references in contemporary pedagogy. The method of literature analysis and selection and reconstruction of the content was used to obtain a synthesis of the discussed issues. THE PROCESS OF ARGUMENTATION: The implementation of the goal and the answer to the problem question is included in the process of the argument, which consists of: introduction to problems, analysis and reflections on the essence and meaning of individualization, types of intelligence and learning styles. RESEARCH RESULTS: Reflection on the issues raised indicates the interdisciplinary character of the analyzed area. The presented analyzes and reflections demonstrate diversity within the interpreted area of reality, which suggests the need for changes in some areas of the child’s education. CONCLUSIONS, INNOVATIONS, AND RECOMMENDATIONS: The search for contemporary perspectives in the field of individualization is associated with the equalization of life chances of children, raising the quality of their lives. This is a problem widely discussed in theory, but in practice often underappreciated or recognized as a new challenge for actions in education about upbringing. There is a need to design narrow programs implemented in educational institutions.
