Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the features of communication in social networks and the impact of this communication on the speech culture of the participants in the communication. The authors investigate communication in social networks as a social phenomenon in the context of contemporary trends in the development of Russian language and draw conclusions about the patterns and consequences of online communication. The article also analyzes the degree of influence of individual culture on speech behavior in social networks.
