Summary/Abstract: The pathemic scheme of the threat contains various events ranging from panic to fear. The symbols of power such as weapons, the rod, the royal clothing, exercise, on the other, feelings derived directly from the association of authority with the latent threat. Starting from Durand’s symbology, our article follows some symbols, like the terrible weapons (the whip, for example), the instruments of seduction and atrocious animals (the Cerberus, the Phoenix, which guards The Book of Fate from the Egyp-tian mythology, the nightmare creatures from Bardo Thödol, for example the Bat-Goddess etc.). And, in another plan, we analyze the threatening mimics from an anthological episode: the menacing gesture of Matriocha, the character of Dostoievski (Demons).
