Summary/Abstract: This article aims to present an overview of the current rights and obligations of religious ministers in cases when they are the injured party in ordinary criminal proceedings. First, the concepts of the injured party and religious minister are explained. The main part of the study deals with the rights and obligations that are connected with the general status of the religious minister. Special attention is devoted to the possibility of applying the statutory rules of criminal proceedings, taking into account the constitutional and international principle of respect for the autonomy and independence of the Church and the state in their own spheres.
