Support the Implementation of the Tasks of Regional and Local Authorities in the Framework of the EU Funds

Summary/Abstract: The aim of this work is the attempt of evaluation of the use of EU funds in the period 2007-2013 years in certain localities of the Podkarpacie region in the field of local task. Implementing the adopted goals have been used in private study based on a questionnaire survey in randomly selected municipalities of Podkarpackie Voivodship. Municipalities analyzed are diverse in terms of conditions and yet differ in size of obtained support. The level of use of the EU funds in Podkarpackie Voivodship should be assessed positively. The scope of the projects was due to the form of support for which they were intended. The projects form part of a strategic goal of the municipality. The surveyed municipalities implemented projects, which in the opinion of the respondents have improved access to education, social inclusion, energy. The assessment shows that the obtained funds have contributed to the development and implementation of tasks in the community.
