Summary/Abstract: The internal and external of modern organizations environment is changing. An aging population, entering Generation Y to the labor market and the emerging adverse events associated with managing Generation X, intergenerational management gaining in importance. The presence of several generations in the labor market becomes a challenge for managers. Analysis of policies and management practices in view of the characteristics of the different generations provides a foundation for designing and implementing intergenerational management tools. These processes relate to the public sector, in which the management of multiple generations can be an important support for the processes of modernization. Generational management processes will be presented in the light of quantitative research – age management as an element of multigenerational management and qualitative research.
