HISTORICAL ASPECTS AND COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE RECIDIVISM IN THE CRIMINAL LAW OF THE EUROPEAN COUNTRIES AND BULGARIA

Summary/Abstract: In the following article the author has done a short historical preview and comparative analysis of the institute of recidivism between Bulgarian criminal law and the criminal law of France, Russia, Spain. It has been analyzed the provisions which regulate the recidivism in each relevant penal code in order to draw conclusions about the need of improve the regulation in the Bulgarian national criminal code
