Short Description

Studia Iuris is a specialized e-journal of the Faculty of Law of Plovdiv University “Paisii Hilendarski”. The journal encompasses articles of prominent scholars as well as of young research fellows,  doctoral students and students. Content of the journal is divided into categories, covering various aspects of the legal science and jurisprudence. Since its foundation in 2014, Studia Iuris has become one of the leading Bulgarian law e-journals. All articles presented for publication are reviewed by the editorial board.

The editor-in-chief is Prof. Emilia Drumeva, PhD.

„Studia Iuris“ is a legal online journal of the Law Faculty at Plovdiv University ‘Paisii Hilendarski’. It is established on 4th February 2014 upon resolution of the Law Faculty Council.

The journal provides specialized field for authors in the sphere of law, lawyers, judges, as well as young legal students who present their articles and reviews on issues within their professional and scientific interests. The articles are published after anonymous reviewing.

„Studia Iuris” offers various columns – articles, discussions, foreign experience and reviews, legislation improvements, young authors works and etc. It is a forum for outstanding original contributions to legal studies and it is intended for a wide range of readers. It may also be of interest for even a greater audience because of the interdisciplinary material that is relevant to legal studies.

 The journal creates an environment for the exchange of scientific ideas and research results of significance, usefulness and applicability in the field of law.
