Summary/Abstract: The present paper deals with the conservation of some pieces of costumes from the collection of the Moldavian Ethnographical Museum in Iasi, emphasizing the importance of the cleaning process through its positive effects on the textile material - stopping the progressive processes of degradation and restoring some specific qualities of textiles.
