Summary/Abstract: The principle of legal information imposes the obligation on the authorities authorized to search the person and on personal control to inform the participants about their rights and duties. In relation to the person searched, the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code fully protect its implementation. On the other hand, persons subjected to personal control, which is governed by the Police Act and executive acts, are exposed to imprecise regulations that limit the sense of security of activity participants and influence on a degree of implementation of the principle of legal information and its basic functions, like guarantee and information functions.
