Summary/Abstract: Are we so insatiable and greedy, that we will never be satisfied? The article presents the way in which Nedyalka Mihova`s „The Stars Come Closer“ and Dmitry Glukhovsky`s „Future“ rationalize and represent future human immortality through extreme artistic images. The study focuses on the ways in which science fiction foresees the biotechnological enhancement of the human body, manipulation of the human genome and the future tendenies of changing Homo sapiens' body and his nature.
